CAPE COD
So, we're planning a trip to Cape Cod this year. One of my dreams is to go whale watching on the ocean. That's the main reason we are going. Hunting for a cottage to stay in has been difficult. They go from Saturday to Saturday (when you're staying for a week). That doesn't fit into our schedule but we found someone who will work with us. It's costing a little more, though. We are staying in Provincetown. Also, during our trip, Kirk is going flyfishing for stripers on the flats. There are lots of lighthouses; I've read that some of the BEST whale watching is there: humpbacks, minkes, finbacks, seis, pilots, and, of course, dolphins and porpoises. We are very excited to be on the Atlantic Ocean. The cottage we most likely will get is beachfront. We are now searching for decent airfare tickets.
I'm a project person and am usually making something. I have fun with fabric making quilts, wall hangings, bags, etc. I like to try new recipes out on Kirk. I would rather bake than cook. I have a sweet tooth (unfortunately) and so I usually have something sweet in the house. I love to visit my family and see what they're up to. Kirk and I still go out on dates. We enjoy movies, dinner, shopping (me, he doesn't, unless it's in a flyshop). I also like the sun. It would be fun to live near a good beach. Spring and summer are my favorite seasons. I like to relax with Kirk when he's not working. We enjoy each other's company (even if he teases too much)! When I watch TV, it's "Criminal Minds" (but I can't watch it if Kirk isn't here), "Dancing With the Stars" and I like to keep up on the local news. My newest pastime and volunteer work is indexing. I read census' online and type the needed info and then submit it to the LDS church family history center. I love to do data entry, so it's right up my alley.
That sounds like such a fun trip! Hopefully you can find some really great deals to make it even better!
